Successful and highly profitable marketing doesn't just happen, it has to be planned and tracked. If you have tried any of the neighborhood marketing techniques I have been recommending to you, you already know that they are very effective and profitable. So why aren't you doing more of them? It's hard to find the time isn't it? And how are you doing on delegating? The truth is if you are ever going to have a highly effective and consistent marketing program you must delegate and automate. Remember Master Marketing Strategy #10, "Create Hundreds or Thousands of Preset Templates"? This is the first step in automating your marketing. Now use the templates you have created for each holiday and marketing occasion to begin your marketing. If appropriate, design templates for theme nights, and templates to stimulate business during slow periods. Now begin to build a marketing calendar. Begin by planning marketing events around each major holiday that you want to promote. Then plan marketing events for each month, and then each week. The key to making all this easier is a good marketing software program. By using software, you can automate printing direct mail pieces, sending e-mails, faxing to businesses, and producing redemption reports. Automating these processes will help you delegate many of these functions, and will let you do much more marketing while spending a lot less time doing it. Software will also allow you to make sure that all the marketing you do is 100% profitable.
