Gathering Information on Existing Customers - 09/24/2009

Information that you gather from your existing customers will help you to target your restaurant marketing efforts, so that you only spend money on marketing that works and brings customers into your restaurant.

There is no need to scream into deaf ears. For instance, if all your customers come to your restaurant from work then there's no point in marketing where they live unless they also live in your restaurant marketing area.

When you have marketing information on your best customers, you need to evaluate all your restaurant marketing programs that will allow you to get more customers just like them. Start with the least expensive first. Test it and if it works, do more marketing. Then try something else, if it works, do more. If it doesn't work, go on to the next marketing campaign.

A single marketing promotion will seldom hit a home run. Most marketing hits singles, doubles and sometimes a triple. However, when you put all your restaurant marketing activities together, you have fantastic results ... and you have a winning team.
