Party Manager - 09/10/2009It's important to get personal and keep a customer for life and maintain their repeat business. You should have at least two birthday packages. You should supply all the fun - balloons, birthday napkins, streamers, decorations, party hats, cake, candles, invitations, a big bag to put all their presents in and a gift for the birthday person! These items should be supplied with both packages. The birthday gift should have your logo on it to remind them of how fun their birthday was. For birthday packages, you should have a small package that includes just dessert and drinks, maybe the next step up could be dessert, drinks and 2 appetizers. The next step up could be a feature item (2-3 things to choose from) your dinner/lunch menu, drinks and dessert. Next step, three appetizers, dinner/lunch entree, drinks and dessert. The Super Duper package could include three appetizers, dinner/lunch entree, specialty drinks and dessert! You need to make these simple so it can be a huge success. You should have one server to every 10 Guests and one Hostess to every 20 Guests. This way the Hostess could be the party coordinator. They would be in charge of wrapping the special gift, blowing up balloons, helping to set up the room for the guests, pre-bussing, taking 2-6 Polaroid pictures during the party. The server would be in charge of help setting up parties, serving the table, pre-bussing and delivery of food and clean up. The Party Manager would be in charge of taking reservations, receiving special instructions concerning the party, giving prices, making sure the entrees are ready, helping the server prepare the soup, salad, drinks, specialty drinks, delivering entrees and serving desserts. All the staff could sing a birthday song to the birthday person and present their birthday gift. Back to Top Other Entries |
